Agency Mission: We provide loving care to people with life-threatening illnesses, support to their families, and service to the community in a spirit of enriching lives. For more than 30 years, Alive Hospice has provided compassionate end-of-life care, grief support and education to its patients, their families and the community as the area’s oldest non-profit, community-based hospice provider. In addition to in-home patient care, services offered include full-time, on-site care at Alive Hospice Residence Nashville, a 30-bed facility on Alive Hospice’s Patterson Street campus; at Alive Hospice at Saint Thomas Hospital, a 16-bed unit located on the third floor of Saint Thomas Hospital; and at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus, a 16-bed unit located on the second floor of the former Tennessee Christian Medical Center in Madison. Grief support is also provided by Alive Grief Support Services to patients’ families as well as to anyone in the community who has experienced the death of a loved one. Alive Hospice staff and volunteers understand that coping with terminal illness presents many challenges, both physical and emotional. They are equipped to meet those challenges and believe that no one, regardless of illness, age, or ability to pay, has to die alone or in pain. Alive Hospice |
